Strictly Drawing with Holly June 13th-17th (9am - 11 am)
In this camp, students will be introduced to all the formal elements of drawing including: contour lines, value shading, perspective, and composition. As a result, students will leave with the skills and confidence to draw anything!
Colored Pencils with Holly June 20th - 24th (9am - 11 am)
This camp will focus on the fantastic medium of pencils! Students will begin learning the techniques of graphite pencils creating images with value and depth. Students will then move on to using colored pencils, learning the techniques of professionals.
Acrylics basics with Holly June 27th - July 1st (9am -11am)
Acrylic paint is such an exciting and versatile medium and has been adopted by many modern painters. It can be used in glazes like watercolor or used thickly like oils and can be applied to a variety of surfaces. In this camp we will experiment with three different techniques while focusing on a subject matter chosen by the student. Students will also learn how to stretch their own canvas!
Woodcraft July 5th - 8th (9am - 11 am) (4 days price: $136.00) Learn some fun and simple ways in beginning woodcrafting while constructing
your very own robot and robo-pet!
Character Design with Holly July 11th - 15th (9am - 11 am)
Students will develop characters and learn how to establish emotional expressions and personalities for each character. Students will also tackle the challenging skill of drawing their characters in multiple views. By the end of the week, students will complete and illustration with their characters.
Mosaics with Judi July 18th - 22nd (9am - 11 am)
Make your own mosaic lamp and decorative wall art! Add a splash of color and light to your room with colored glass and beads on your mosaic pieces!
Pastels and Charcoal with Kathleen July 25th - 29th (9am - 11 am) Beginning students will learn basics in composition and shading techniques starting with still life and ending with landscapes! Step by step instruction will guide students to finish a drawing worthy of framing!
Watercolor with Alexis August 1st - 5th - Beginning (9am - 11 am) August 8th - 12th - Advanced (9am - 11 am)
