Class Policies

J's Art Studio Class Policies

Makeup Classes:
There are no makeup classes for regular absences due to illness or schedule conflicts. Makeup classes will be offered only on religious holiday absences, at times designated by the studio. If this class is missed, no other makeup time will be available.

Supplies:
All supplies will be provided by the studio. A $50.00 non-refundable supplies fee is included in the semester tuition and will cover supplies needed for all classes. 


Visitors:
Space in the studio is limited, and when a class is FULL, all possible spaces are taken. Therefore, we do not allow visitors to sit in on classes. If your child has a friend interested in taking lessons, and would like to sit in on a class, please ask their parent to call us and arrange a free trial lesson.

Inclement Weather:
Occasionally, the Metroplex will experience severe storms, ice, and snow. The studio will follow PISD school closings, and you will be notified by EMAIL or FACEBOOK in case of a closing. Make sure you are on our mailing list!

Class Arrival:
Children must be escorted to and from their classes. Please refrain from dropping your child off, or picking your child up from the studio any more than 15 minutes before or after their designated class time.

 

Tuition Policy

Each class meets once a week per semester. Tuition is paid by semester. There is no registration period in January, and therefore your child has the space throughout the year, unless you notify us otherwise. We offer 2 options for tuition payment: In full or  2 installments .

Full Semester Payment
We offer a $15 off to anyone wishing to pay for the semester in FULL. *Please call the studio for information about the deadline to receive the discount.  We offer $5 off the entire semester's tuition if paid in full by check or cash!

Two Installments
First payment due at registration. The second installment will be due at the middle of the semester. No discounts will be offered.
